Today is my first day volunteering at the zoo! Was suppose to meet this girl illi at 8.50am, but I only wake up at 8.50am! I reach the zoo at 9.20am. =<

Met up with her n went to sign in at the security room. Also took my meal voucher from there. Then we headed to the fragile forest where I was introduce to my zoo keeper Jagan!

First task was to mix the food for the animals, then cut the carrots and fruits.. Then, it's feeding time!!!!!

So nice, the animals especially the lemurs and dove will come to u to eat the bananas.. Haha.. After that was lunch then Jagan explained to me the mealworm's like cycle.. Afterward, I was task to remove the adults to another tank.. It was alright..

Then had to top up the stick insects water and water the plants inside.. When I open the cage, many stick insects fell out.. Gotta pick it up and put it back in! The baby stick insects look like moss in the plastic container!

After that.. Clean up the place, n it's tea break! After tea, helped ramlan with the transferring of the caterpillars to the new plants.. The caterpillars are so squishy squashy! But the pupae are so beautiful!

After placing the caterpillars on the new plant, slack n waited for closing.

During closing, we swept the place to make sure everybody is out, lock up the place.. And fed the animals once again. The animals some how know we are going to feed them.. So all came out! N the lemur climb on me!
