TO ALL MY NURSING FRIEND


Due to pt confidentiality, i will only name my patient as "Mr A".

Mr A came into my dept for MRSA. He has a hx of ESRF, fluid overload.
For a few days, he has been complaining of short episodes of chestpains.
Like after lunch one day, he told me he has gt chestpain. And the next moment, his alright.
So, we as nurses take it easy and overlooked i guess.

TODAY, Mr A passed away.
Cause of death was AMI.


To all nurses that is reading this.
i have learnt a lesson. so i hope you did too.
i am nt very sure is there a link.
as AMI maybe asymptomatic.
but i still think we shd mayb do a ECG or something when he's complaining.



SUMMARY:
DO NOT DOUBT YOUR PATIENTS.
N REGRET LATER!!!
