later i'll be goin for my very 1st night shift duty..kinda excited..kekeke...=P...hmm...so far i haven tok bout my PRCP yet yeah? aniwae..for those who dunno wad is PRCP..it's like the final attachment tat we go to consolidate all of wad we had learnt in the past 3 years and also to adapt to wad a staff nurse job is.

i have been assign SGH ward58. it is a surgical ward(b2side), a ICA & ICU(central) and a isolation department[ID](A side). i wanted to go to a surgical ward, but zhun zhun...they assign me to this isolation ward..so bo bian..go lor..

the staffs in ID are really really gd. mayb coz they nv had students..we are the few lucky ones who gotta be choosen to work there..=P..

My preceptor is SN Vino..she is super duper nice. no matter how busy she is..she will still try to stop wadeva she's doin and explain to me stuffs. she let me do alot of hands on nt like some nurses who onli allow u to observe. she allows me to do n supervise me as i do it. i am really lucky to have her as my preceptor.

on days when my preceptor is off, i would juz follow the SN in charge. so far, all the SN that i followed was really nice n helpful. they wun complain that we are slow or wadsoeva. this is one of the few wards that i feel very comfortable in as i am able to ask things without being afraid that i might be scolded or rejected.

i really like my posting so far and i tink i'll most prob come back here after i grad as i think this is really a very gd place to learn stuffs. =P
